The Story Behind L&B MAMA: From Teacher to Creator

L&B MAMA did not start with a business plan. It started with a decision — the kind you make at two in the morning when life has taken a sharp turn and you are just trying to figure out what comes next.

The Pivot Nobody Planned For

When COVID hit, I made the difficult choice to leave my teaching career and stay home with my kids. It was the right call for our family, but it left a gap — financially and personally. I needed something that was mine, something that could grow alongside the chaos of raising little ones.

So I started a small clothing brand. A few crewnecks, a logo, and a whole lot of figuring it out as I went. That little shop became the seed for everything L&B MAMA is today.

More Than a Store

What I quickly realized is that the clothing was just the starting point. The real connection happened in the conversations — the DMs from other moms who felt the same way, the comments from women who were also trying to build something while raising tiny humans.

L&B MAMA grew into a full lifestyle brand because that is what my life actually looks like: content creation, beauty, wellness, family, and the beautiful mess in between. I became a professional UGC creator, partnering with brands big and small to make content that actually converts. But at the core, it is still the same thing — keeping it honest.

What We Stand For

Three things drive everything I do at L&B MAMA:

Honesty. Whether it is a colour match recommendation, a product review, or a brand partnership, everything comes from a real place. I do not promote what I do not believe in.

Real life. This brand is for women navigating whatever season they are in — new motherhood, the thick of the kid years, rediscovering yourself, or building something of your own. None of it is perfect, and that is the point.

Community. The best part of this journey has been the people. The mamas who send a message just to say “me too.” The women who show up, support each other, and make this space feel like home.
